Stick With What Works

Ok, So I think I am going to nominate myself as Queen of Mistakes and any of you can feel free to become my subjects
Recently I started weeding out the programs that I had signed up for to make incredible amounts of money in a short time and started focusing on the one or two that have a proven track record and have been established for years. While the income generated from these 2 programs are trickling in at the moment I am stepping back and taking a look at the big picture. I am now realizing that it is not the instant gratification that is going to sustain me but the long term range of built residual income that will afford me the independence that I am desperately seeking.
I fell into the trap of the PIP Sites and signed up for one only to discover that each step I took cost more money but in order to succeed with the PIP Sites this was imperative. I was given a 30 Day To Success Guide. Each Day cost me anywhere from 29.95 to 99.99 to achieve the promised success. I reached day 15 of this program and saw that my bank account had dwindled down to nothing. A light bulb went off in my head, what was I thinking? I was not achieving success of getting loads and loads of money, I was however succeeding in providing the Mentor with loads and loads of money. I stopped myself dead in my tracks and started applying the tips to my own businesses that will bring profit for me and not someone else. Instead of signing up for various ways of marketing myself and my Businesses and paying for it, I turned it all around and have found free ways to achieve the very same thing that I was for 15 days straight paying for. I have seen my website traffic and signups increase and have not paid a thing to accomplish this.
The one simple tool I use is called GOOGLE, I can query anything and get exactly what I want and it doesn't cost. With a little bit of research and reading all the way through I am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. There are no secrets to Internet Marketing and you certainly don't have to pay for the so called secrets. Common Sense is all that is required. There are marketing methods that I do pay for but I am making sure that I am benefiting from this payout as well.
I am having to constantly remind myself of the K.I.S.S. Method because one can definitely get off track with all of the very attractive offers out there.
